Whitesel Music is strategically located in the Beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  We are less than a mile from the I-81 corridor, which gives us a direct route to as far north as New York City, and access to both Carolina's and West Virginia.  In addition to local and regional piano moves with our own truck, crew, and equipment, we are a regular stop for national carriers that specialize in cross-country and national moves.  With available warehousing, we can also keep your piano safe for extended periods of time in between moves.

Affordable and Easy Rates!

The affordable price of moving a vertical piano (spinet, console, or studio), is $199 locally, and $199 in the Northern Virginia DC Metro area. We charge $50 for each flight of 4 or more steps, and $50 to "ramp" a piano across grass, gravel, or other non-paved terrain.  For moves that require an extra set of hands beyond a two person crew, $75 is added for each additional mover.  If you are not located in Harrisonburg, VA, or NOVA/D.C. Metro Area, mileage is additional at $1 per mile round-trip beyond a 25 mile radius. To determine your mileage, go to Google Maps. The base price of moving a grand piano is $299 locally and $299 in the DC Metro area. The additional costs explained above, apply. Long distance moves of 4 hours or more with 2 movers is billed at $89/hr. See Google Maps for billable hours adding 1 hour at each location for packing and unpacking.
