Whitesel Church Organs was founded by Norman A. Whitesel in the spring of 1948.  He began his humble roots as one of the first, and eventually one of the longest running, Allen Organ Dealers in the history of that company.  Norman established the foundation of the business by installing the first electronic organs in the historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  In the late 60's, Mr. Whitesel brought Carroll Motsinger, an ordained minister, under his wing to take over the business.

Over the next 35 years, Carroll installed a massive number of organs while extending the reach of the business throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  He taught his family and employees that the best interests of a company should never be put above that of the church.  He also knew that he must make the changes necessary to bring the company into the next generation of family ownership, and properly into the 21st century.

In 2007, Carroll's Grandson, Joshua Dove, become president of the company. Like Carroll, he was taught his family is the caretaker of Norman Whitesel's vision and ministry.  Since then, Joshua has expanded the service area to cover much of the East Coast for Electronic and Digital Organs, and the entire United States for Pipe Organ Sales and Service.  In addition to this, Whitesel Church Organs became the exclusive US National Representative for Mascioni Pipe Organ Builders of Italy.

Thanks to 65 years of dedicated family ministry, choosing to work with Whitesel Church Organs means choosing first class service through the sales process and support. Not just now, but for decades into the future.  Your church will be purchasing an instrument that Whitesel Church Organs considers a piece of art, and created solely for the purpose of bringing glory to God in the highest.
